01 / A real render

See it in action.

This is a real Autoreel render, made for a client. Autoreel scanned their app, wrote the script, cast the presenter and rendered the file. Nobody edited a frame.

04 / How it works

An interactive, guided experience — for your agent.

autoreel make runs the whole pipeline and hands the terminal back at every decision. Your agent reads the checkpoint, shows you what it found, and waits. Nothing renders until you answer.

scan_review

What it thinks your app is

Every route it crawled, every feature it found, every screen it grabbed. Wrong map? Point it somewhere else and run it again.

cast_review

Who says it

A voice on its own, or a presenter on camera. Swap either one before a single frame exists.

script_review

Every word, before it's spoken

Scene by scene, with timings. Edit a line, send it back for another draft, or bin the whole thing.

$0
render

Go

Priced per second of the finished video — you pay for what actually renders, not a flat fee. The only gate that spends anything.

05 / What it actually does

It doesn't record your screen. It drives your app.

Every stage is real software doing real work — a browser logging in, a crawler reading routes, a renderer writing an MP4. Not a prompt with a video filter on it.

Understanding

It reads your app, not screenshots of it

The agent walks your product through the accessibility tree — the same structure a screen reader sees. Your pixels only ever go into your video.

$ autoreel scan --url https://app.example.com

✓ Logged in as demo@app.example.com

! Email verification code required

$ autoreel scan otp scn_a1c9 --code 481203

✓ Verified. Crawl resumed.

Access

Give it the login you'd give a new hire

Email and password, used once. If your app emails a one-time code, the crawl pauses and asks you to paste it, then carries on.

GET/settings/billingblocked · excluded path
POST/api/projects/9f2/archiveblocked · non-GET
DELETE/api/projects/9f2blocked · non-GET

Discipline

Read-only unless you say otherwise

Every request is classified before it leaves the browser. Anything that isn't a GET, and isn't the login, is aborted. Settings, billing and admin are excluded outright.

Script

It writes from what it found

Real routes and real features become scenes with real timings — then you edit them like text, because that's all they are.

Cast

A voice, or a face

Five verified voices, or a photo-avatar presenter minted from a single photo.

Output

A file, not a preview

An MP4, a word-timed .srt and stills, at 1080p30. Pull them from the CLI or the library.

06 / Questions

Everything you're about to ask.

You find out at the first gate, before a word of script exists. scan_review shows every route crawled and every feature found. Wrong? Reject it, sharpen the --brief, re-scan.
