What we collect during a scan
When you point Autoreel at your app, the agent logs in with the demo credentials you provide and reads what's on screen through the accessibility tree — element roles and text labels, not pixels. That structural map, plus any screen recordings and stills captured for your render, are stored so we can build your video and let you re-render from the same script later.
Your screens are never sent to a model vendor as images. The narration script is generated from the structural map, not from screenshots.
Credentials
The login you give a scan is used once, on the login form, to establish a session for that scan. We recommend a dedicated demo account rather than a real user's credentials.
What we store
- Your app's crawled route map and discovered features
- Narration scripts and their revision history
- Screen recordings, stills, and rendered video output
- Account and billing information needed to run the service
What we don't do
- We don't train any model on your app's screens or data
- We don't sell or share your app's data with third parties
- We don't retain credentials beyond the scan that used them
Your render outputs
The MP4, captions, and stills a render produces are yours. You can delete a video and its assets from your library at any time.
